A quilled DREAM....

Hello! I would like to present you my first attempt of creating quilling letters. I chosen to create the word dream because this is what I dreamed to do....

I decorated the quilling letters using the multi scrolls technique.
I added also a quilled bird that represent our dreams that fly where reality doesn't let us. A very challenging project that turned out exactly how I imagined it but I steel have work to do, I dream a lot and for those dreams to come true I have to practice.

Quilling portrait

Hello there ! 

Finally I succeeded !!! It has been a while since I had in mind to make an quilling portrait !

It has been a bit tricky to make this quilling portrait because of the board color. On black board every imperfection is spotted, I hope that it doesn't has any :).
Using multi strips technique I made the hair and I added a classic quilled flower.

It wasn't easy so far but the real challenge is to put the quilling portrait in a frame, I hope to find one that will work. Anyways, keep in touch :)

A piece of garden

When looking on the internet the quilling paintings I saw that they are made with 3d flowers and buterflys, so I decided to give it a try and this is how it turned out.

This is a project that I am very proud of ! I really love how the flowers look ! It was hard work, O remember that it took days,but quilling is something that I enjoy doing. 

For the little flowers I added some nice white pearls that I found when organizing around my workspace.

Mystic flowers

I've named them mystic for the simple reason they are so complicated to make :))). The petals are made from 3 strips of paper: dark blue on the sides and light blue in the middle. With quilling it is a bit difficult to give the impression like there is shadow, but i've given a try by inserting some dark blue strips on the small flowers petals. I don't know if looks like there shadows but it makes a nice effect.

  

If you have a white empty wall, this painting will add some attitude to your room. And for a better effect you can use the background color of the painting to decorate the rest of the room.

The blue flowers and leavs gave me the impression of a fantasy world like in the movie Avatar were the name. To make a special effect I used silver gel from a pen to paint the center of the flowers and around.

Elegant and chic, it will look nice on an office desk. A good way to personalise your work space.
